Snow Pine Branch

Every Yugen piece is a digital design inspired by sumi-e ink painting, developed with the help of digital and AI tools and finished in the studio. Each one is a print, not a hand-painted original, made to order by JONDO, our print partner, including for UK and EU orders.

8x12 is printed on Fine Art paper only.

A single pine branch crosses the composition, drawn in the spirit of sumi-e with indigo and grey ink. Its needles appear sharp, then fade into the mist that gathers along the limbs. The piece holds yūgen, that quality of profound grace found in what is glimpsed rather than fully known. Most of the paper stays untouched. The branch and its atmosphere are enough.

Each print is designed not as decoration, but as a small invitation to pause.
