Autumn caught quiet.

A scatter of Japanese maple leaves — momiji — in the style of classical sumi-e ink. The Japanese have a word, mono no aware, for the gentle ache of impermanence: the awareness that a maple leaf is most beautiful in the moment it is about to fall. This piece holds that moment. In the spirit of classical sumi-e: nothing refined, nothing softened, only what is essential. For those who want their walls to honor the quiet weight of a single season.

THE PHILOSOPHY

This piece is rooted in three intersecting Japanese principles:

• Hanami (花見) — the practice of pausing to witness fleeting beauty

Each print is designed not as decoration, but as a small invitation to pause.
