Kintsugi
Kintsugi (金継ぎ, 'golden joinery') is the Japanese craft of mending broken pottery with lacquer and gold, so the repair becomes part of the object's story rather than something to hide. The Kintsugi Series carries that idea into sumi-e-inspired ink prints: bamboo, cranes, lotus and quiet still lifes, each traced with fine seams of gold.
Ink black and gold on warm parchment grounds, made for Japandi and wabi-sabi rooms that honour wear, repair and the beauty of imperfection.
