A crane folds its wings into a perfect circle, neck straight and head held high. This is the tsuru, a classic Japanese family crest (kamon), and in Japan the crane has long stood for long life and good fortune.

This print shows it in bold black with fine white featherwork on soft cream paper. It's quiet enough for a minimalist room and strong enough to hold a wall on its own.
