How it's made
Every Yugen piece is a digital design inspired by sumi-e ink painting, developed with the help of digital and AI tools and finished in the studio. Each one is a print, not a hand-painted original, made to order by JONDO, our print partner, including for UK and EU orders.
About this print
8x12 is printed on Fine Art paper only.
A path of black stones runs across pale water toward a setting sun, and one figure walks it alone. The sun sits half sunk on the horizon, a picture of the close of a day and the patience it takes to get there.
It is mostly cream and gray, with black ink and a peach sun, so it is one of the lighter prints in the series. It sits easily in a bright room and works well beside pale wood and white walls.
