Wayfarer's Reflection

Every Yugen piece is a digital design inspired by sumi-e ink painting, developed with the help of digital and AI tools and finished in the studio. Each one is a print, not a hand-painted original, made to order by JONDO, our print partner, including for UK and EU orders.

8x12 is printed on Fine Art paper only.

A wayfarer walks out of the mist across wet ground, and his reflection stretches long in a pool of peach light at his feet. It is a quiet scene about seeing yourself clearly for a moment on a long road.

Grey, smoke and peach tones are printed on your choice of Matte or Fine Art (archival) paper, with a photographic softness in the mist. It sits easily in a calm room with pale wood or stone.
